Toronto hair removal specialist

So, I decided to become a hair removal specialist in Toronto. I made a point of learning about all the body hair removal techniques available, so that I could do the best job possible. Then, way back in 1984, I started my own business in body hair removal, and opened the electrolysis clinic, HairEnder. I'm been honing my craft ever since.

As a Toronto hair removal specialist, I've always kept up with the latest and best equipment, and even more importantly, with the best hygiene techniques as well. I'll tell you more about that, because it's important.

You see, it isn't just my own high standards as a Toronto electrologist at play - I have a real aversion to the very idea of germs - anywhere. What I came to realize is that many of my clients would become loyal fans because I was the first body hair removal specialist that didn't leave their skin all mottled and pimply. I was amazed to hear how many people had used other hair removal specialists only to have pimples oozing pus within a day or two. Yuck!

I hate to say it, but improper hygiene and sterilization processes can cause real problems. In addition to ugly sores on your skin, you can run the risk of contracting a number of diseases that are spread by contact - including hepatitis. I believe that it is bad practice for any body hair removal specialist to allow that to happen - ever.

So, I got together with other Toronto electrologists that I trusted - people that I knew that also have high standards. Together we founded the Canadian Organization of Professional Electrologists - COPE for short - and then a provincial organization called the Society of Ontario Electrologists (SOE).

For over ten years as an executive member of those organizations, I made a point of trying to educate other hair removal practitioners to practise safe hygiene. I also had a big hand in making sure that other hair removal specialists also learned about the latest and best in hair removal equipment, techniques and also sterilization and hygiene tools and techniques.

For instance, one of the simple changes we promoted that made a big improvement was the use of disposable gloves. This single change means that the rate of infection among clients dropped dramatically. I'll be telling you more about this and other techniques as this site develops. We also worked on a major campaign to have our provincial government require licensing of body hair removal specialists. We wanted to make sure that the public can be assured of a minimum standard in training, equipment, sterilization and infection control. We also pushed for regular independent inspections to make sure the standards are maintained.

Unfortunately, we lost the fight at the provincial level. But, I'm happy to report that the City of Toronto did listen to our organization's message, and incorporated many of our standards as part of their annual inspection routine for Personal Services Settings Inspections through the Public Health Department.

I'm proud to say that when I say that we have high standards, I really mean it - and can prove it.

Now, I'm taking the same high standards that I promoted within our profession, and I'm bringing that information directly to the public. What's good, and what's not so good,.
